Refund policy

At VELA, we want you to feel confident and inspired in your dancewear. We understand that finding the perfect fit is essential for dancers, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

In accordance with the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, our Returns & Exchanges Policy is as follows:

1. Return & Exchange Window

You may return or exchange eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return or exchange, all items must be:

Brand new and unused
Unwashed
In their original packaging
With all original product tags attached

2. Product-Specific Conditions

Leotards & Tights

Due to hygiene regulations, leotards and tights may only be returned or exchanged if they are:

Completely unworn
Unwashed
In their unopened original packaging

Items showing signs of wear, makeup, deodorant, or damage cannot be accepted.

Pointe Shoes & Ballet Slippers

Shoes must be tried on only on a clean, carpeted surface.

Returns or exchanges cannot be accepted if the shoes show:

Dirt or scuff marks on the soles
Folded or damaged shanks
Ribbons or elastics that have been sewn or tied

3. Refunds & Cancellation Fees

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Cancellation Fee

For returns due to a change of mind, a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction value or 100 ILS (whichever is lower) will be deducted from the refund, in accordance with Israeli Consumer Protection Law.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, no cancellation fee will apply. We will gladly replace the item or issue a full refund after verification.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning items due to a change of mind or a size exchange.

If you are exchanging an item for a different size, VELA will cover the shipping cost of sending the replacement item back to you. This offer is limited to one complimentary exchange shipment per order.
